These are the frontline team members who lead The Cross Current in fulfilling our mission and representing our outreach broadcast.
Cory McKenna |
Founding President

Cory McKenna is the founding president of The Cross Current and host of our outreach broadcast. Cory is an ordained minister, former sales executive, and evangelism/discipleship pastor. He has street witnessed and open air preached in many cities across Canada and the United States. Each week Cory leads witnessing teams to the front lines on the streets sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, praying for people, and ministering to their needs. Cory's call and passion is to bring glory to God by serving the Church and imparting the blessings he and his team have experienced as they've sown God's Word into the hearts of the lost. He preaches at churches, teaches at conferences, and conducts witnessing workshops on a regular basis to equip believers to fulfill the Great Commission. Cory and his wife Dawn are both from Halifax, Nova Scotia and currently live in London, Ontario with their two sons, Joshua and Caleb.

Kevin Lane is vice president of The Cross Current. Kevin came to realize he was a sinner in need of salvation in Grade 2, but it wasn't until his adulthood that that he took that salvation seriously. At 34, he finally chose to truly serve the Lord, and in so doing has found there are no sweeter words than the Gospel of Reconciliation in Christ Jesus. In addition to helping shape the ministry direction of TCC, Kevin is the key developer and driving force behind TCC Radio. He tirelessly serves in the vital roles of radio writer, researcher, engineer, and producer of the weekly radio program that teaches God's word while airing evangelistic Gospel encounters from the street. Kevin is also the author of Fail-Safe for Fallacy, a resource written to help believers learn how to cut straight to the truth when studying Scripture. Kevin and his wife Joanne live in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Jeff Mardling is the Director of Ministry Relations with The Cross Current. Jeff was soundly saved in 2002 after "playing church" his whole life. A real and urgent burden for lost souls became top priority. Jeff has served with TCC since 2007, which has supplied the encouragement and push for the normalization of one to one witnessing and open air preaching each day of his life. In addition to strengthening relationships between The Cross Current and our partner churches/ministries, Jeff also gives leadership to our Cross Carrier donor development program. He is a gifted communicator and has a passion to train others for the work of evangelism. Jeff and his wife Susan have two sons, Cameron and Joel, and live in Ridgetown, Ontario.
